My Background
I have a Master of Teaching (Primary Education) from Sydney University and a Diploma of Dance Teaching Studies in Classical Ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance London. I have danced professionally in Australia and overseas, owned my own dance studio for 10 years, worked as a primary school teacher and been teaching classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and lyrical to children and adults for 21 years.

I have worked as a ballet, jazz and tap examiner for Australian Dance Vision which involved travelling across New South Wales, Victoria & Queensland dance studios to examine their students and provide written reports. I was also a ballet tutor for Australian Dance Vision at yearly teacher workshops, training teachers in ballet technique, pointe shoe work and syllabus strategies in New South Wales and Victoria.
